The Store - Raleigh

The decor was sleek, and the Koi pond added such a serene vibe. We felt at home with all the thoughtful amenities. John treated us like family.

Perfect, big room, everything was amazing. We had a microwave oven, tea/coffee making equipment, and a refrigerator. The location of the property was particularly good and excellent, near a beautiful public park. Moreover, it was near Raleigh and theStore and restaurants and bars in downtown Raleigh and the JC Raulston Arboretum.

our a double room was huge. a shower, hairdryers and a spa bathtub where available there.

The room was super cozy and we loved the fine design of the historic building. We enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace and made use of the cozy leisure room. The only minor downside was that the bathroom was separate from our room, but it was no biggie since it was just across the hall 🌟

We enjoyed the tennis court and loved hanging out on the terrace. We visited a couple of great restaurants nearby and the street-side area was perfect for our group. Staff were helpful, and check-in was easy. Just a heads up, book ahead for busy times as it gets noisy during events.

Perfect for a thoughtful getaway

I gotta say, the attention to detail here is amazing. John had this amazing selection of toiletries, not something you expect from a small guesthouse. Plus, I loved hanging out by the koi pond. It was peaceful and beautiful.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly, the experience was worth every penny.

Staying at this guesthouse was a good experience. The decor reflected unique artistry, and the comfortable king suite provided all the amenities needed. I appreciated John's recommendations for local dining, though the lack of an external lock was slightly concerning. Otherwise, an excellent choice!

Really good stay! The stylish decor and robust amenities were excellent, with thoughtful extras like shampoo, conditioner, and more provided in the room. John, the host, offered invaluable recommendations for local spots and was accommodating, allowing an early check-in. On the downside, I found it inconvenient that the room door couldn't be locked from the outside, made me wary about leaving valuables. It was a good experience, surpassed only by the home's cleanliness.

The comfy bed was a dream and bathroom reminded me of a spa. I never wanted to leave the Koi pond area!

Only hiccup? You can't lock the room door from the outside, so it seemed like a game of Tetris packing up our valuables each time we stepped out!

Fantastic stay 🥰 John's warmth and the thoughtful amenities were a delight. I loved the huge bathroom and comfy bed! The only downside was that I wish we could've stayed longer. Will definitely return!

Super cozy place! My beautiful king suite was comfy and beautifully designed. Loved the mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. They had all sorts of toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and even sunscreen. Plus, the owner was so nice and shared great local tips. Perfect spot close to everything in Raleigh!

Spacious rooms with large bathrooms and tubs, for example. Distinctive decor. 🛁 This way customers can feel more comfortable during their stay and enjoy a relaxing time.

I had a fantastic stay with excellent sightseeing opportunities and found a nearby place called Vidrio that served great drinks within walking distance.

Spacious room with a nice bathroom, and we loved having the option for wake-up calls. 🛀

The room here is large with all the essentials, a roomy bathroom, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, and a comfortable sitting area.
